About Captain Ralph Mayans

I’m Captain Ralph Mayans and I’ve been a resident of Miami my entire life. Living and fishing in South Florida has given me the opportunity to explore some of the best fishing grounds in the continental US – from Miami Beach to Florida Keys and out to the pristine waters of the Bahamas. Fishing the local waters for a lifetime, I’ve gained the experience necessary to ensure my clients have the best possible opportunity for a successful and memorable fishing trip.

I’m a licensed and insured Coast Guard Certified Captain, a member of the International Game Fish Association, and a proven tournament winner placing 1st in the Bimini Big Game Club’s Bahamas Fishing Bonanza and 2nd place in the Bimini Big Game Club’s Big Five Fishing Tournament.

As a private captain on various other tournament sport fishing boats, I have been able to gain valuable experience not available any other way than through tournament experience – fishing with and against, some of the best fishing captains in South Florida and the Bahamas.
