Sailfish are starting to heat up here just off the reef. Live baiting with goggle eyes has been very effective. We also been catching a few on the troll.
Earlier this week, I received a phone call from Josh. He was heading back from Panama and meeting his girlfriend here in Miami for some rest and relaxation. He said he wanted to put her on a sailfish – she had never caught one before. Josh had just left Panama where he caught his first pacific sailfish and was so excited he wanted to do something super special for her. So they met up on Miami Beach on their quest for her first sail and the Sea Cross did not disappoint.
